Burner Management
Hamworthy Peabody burner management systems provide safe operation and reduce fuel expenses by controlling boiler start-up, operation, and shut-down. Systems are available for single or multiple burners, multiple fuels, and custom sequencing. Safety is assured through the use of multiple operational checks and fail-safe circuitry. Hamworthy Peabody burner management systems meet National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards and help provide compliance with state, local, and insurance requirements.
Burner management systems include:
- Digital safety system designed to monitor burner, ignitor, fuel, boiler/furnace conditions
- Solid state and programmable controller
- Flexible flame scanner available
- Standard and customizable logic sequences
- Local and remote control panel options
- Operator interface options
While Burner Management Systems should operate independently of Combustion Control Systems to maintain safety and security, these two systems are designed to communicate and coordinate with each other. Single source supply, or cooperation between suppliers, will assure s smooth installation and operation.
Applications:
- Single and multi-burner boilers
- Air heaters, dryers
- Kiln burners
- Heat recovery steam generators (HRSG)
- Fluid bed boilers
