FV-03 SmartScan^TM

The FV-03 SmartScan^™ flame scanner from Hamworthy Peabody Combustion Inc. combines the latest sensor technology with advanced microprocessor control to reliably sense the presence and condition of flames. It scans IR and UV radiation alone or in combination for true multi-fuel capability and discriminates between adjacent flames and radiating surfaces. SmartScan^™ flame scanners are suitable for oil, gas, coal and non-standard fuel scanning.

Reliability is assured with self-checking and self-diagnostic operations. The SmartScan system includes back-up batteries to override momentary power outages and features automatic gain and sensitivity controls to eliminate crucial adjustments. The hand-held programmer allows the selection of set points and operating modes. This plug-in unit is easily removed after use to prevent any unauthorized changes.
